REEM
Late 20s, a mother living in the mountains of Pakistan, strong and caring. Also plays: WAHIDA, 40s, Sayid and Reem’s daughter. Brilliant, defiant and kind. Middle Eastern or South Asian.

SAYID
Early 30s, her husband, a shopkeeper, intelligent and honorable, Middle Eastern or South Asian.

FARID
Late 60s, his uncle, the authority and wisdom of an elder, a problem solver in the family. Middle Eastern or South Asian.

AHMED
Mid 20s, Sayid’s cousin, goodhearted but not as brave as he’d like to be. Middle Eastern or South Asian.

MOUSSA
14, a student, naïve, vulnerable and angry. Middle Eastern or South Asian.

MATT
Mid 30s, an American RPA (drone) pilot in Nevada, dedicated and loyal but as he becomes fascinated by the people he is watching, withdrawn and troubled. Also plays: MATTHEW, 30s, Matt and Erin’s son. Lost and searching, about to have a child, uncertain about the future. Any ethnicity.

ERIN
Mid 30s, his wife, a physician’s assistant, strong, honest and independent. Any ethnicity.

JARED
Early 40s, Matt’s supervisor, by-the-book military man who understands more than he can show. Any ethnicity.

ANTHONY
Early 20s, an RPA pilot, new, very eager to serve and then susceptible to trouble he doesn’t fully understand. Any ethnicity.
