HOW I BECAME A PIRATE Set for Des Moines Playhouse

Des Moines Playhouse presents How I Became a Pirate By Janet Yates Vogt & Mark Friedman. Based on the book by Melinda Long. Performances will be held from May 7-23, 2010.

A day at the beach becomes an adventure when Jeremy Jacob is whisked away by Braid Beard and his pirate crew.

Enjoy a family-friendly lunch at The Playhouse, catered by Le Jardin, with Playhouse director of education and youth programming, Kathy Pingel. You'll get to hear backstage stories, as well as meet cast members in person. Lunch tickets are $20 per adult and $16 per student.
