Contact Lee Ann Bakros, trip coordinator, by phone at 515-974-5358, or register online at dmplayhouse.com. Total trip cost is $2199 per person, double occupancy. Space is limited, and trips sell out quickly.
The Playhouse's Best of Broadway tour allows travelers to see acclaimed Broadway shows. The packages include round-trip non-stop coach airfare on Delta Airlines from Des Moines to New York City, three nights at the Renaissance Times Square in the heart of the theatre district, and three theatre tickets. Travelers enjoy a relaxing, educational travel experience as John Viars, veteran New York guide, employs his unique knowledge and theatre expertise to lead an unforgettable theatre tour. On Thursday evening, the group will see the heartwarming new musical "Come From Away." Set on and after September 11, 2001, it follows the stories of 7,000 stranded passengers and the citizens of the small Newfoundland town that took them in. "Come From Away" was nominated for seven Tony Awards.Videos
