City Circle Theatre Company of Coralville will present the rock musical, The Who's Tommy on February 15-17 at the Coralville Center for the Performing Arts.

Based on the iconic 1969 rock concept album, The Who's Tommy is an exhilarating story of hope, healing and the human spirit. The story of the pinball-playing, deaf, dumb and blind boy who triumphs over his adversities to become an international messiah has inspired, amazed and puzzled audiences for more than forty years.

With book by Des McAnuff and Pete Townshend, music and lyrics by Pete Townshend, and additional music and lyrics by John Entwistle and Keith Moon, this five-time Tony Award-winning musical features an iconic score by The Who, including Top 40 hits "Pinball Wizard," "See Me, Feel Me," and "I'm Free."

Director Elizabeth Tracey and music director Janelle Lauer have assembled a talented cast for this high energy, one-of-a kind theatrical event. With rock-inspired staging and a 6-piece rock band on stage, City Circle's production of Tommy promises to be an electrifying rock and roll experience.

The Who's Tommy will be performed on February 15 and 16 at 7:30 pm, and February 17 at 2:00 pm at the Coralville Center for the Performing Arts.

Tickets to the show are $14-$29 and can be purchased online at coralvillearts.org or by calling 319.248.9370 or in person at the CCPA box office at 1301 5th Street and at the Coralville Recreation Center at 1506 8th Street.
