The Joy of Going Somewhere Definite Opens at Creede Repertory Theatre 8/20
By: Michelle Wong
The Joy of Going Somewhere Definite opens at Creede Repertory Theatre on Friday, August 20, 2010 at 7:30pm. Three drunken loggers set forth into the snowy north woods one night to do a good deed for an even drunker stranger. Their wild, alcohol-fueled misadventure quickly spirals into an existential odyssey worthy of the Coen Brothers.
The New York Post wrote, "There is something so nuttily joyous and brilliantly sustained about [this] country and western picaresque comedy... This is a crazy ride, but worth every cent of the fare." The Joy of Going Somewhere Definite is rated R. Tickets are available by calling the CRT box office at 719.658.2540 or visiting the CRT website at www.creederep.org.
