John has been in a stable relationship with his boyfriend for a number of years. When they "take a break," he accidentally falls in love with a woman. Torn between the two, filled with guilt and conflicting emotions, he doesn't know which way to turn. This comic discussion of identity and sexuality becomes the ultimate cockfight as both the girlfriend and the boyfriend prepare for battle.

Director Robert Kramer has cast Michael Bouchard (John), Brian Landis Folkins (M), Rachel Bouchard (W) and Chris Kendall (F).

British playwright Mike Bartlett was Writer-In-Residence at the National Theatre in 2011 and in 2007 he was Pearson Playwright in Residence at The Royal Court Theatre. His play "Love, Love, Love" won Best New Play in the 2011 Theatre Awards UK, "Cock" won an Olivier Award in 2010 for Outstanding Achievement in an Affiliate Theatre, then had a successful New York run in 2012. He won the Writer's Guild Tinniswood and Imison prizes for "Not Talking" and the Old Vic New Voices Award for "Artefacts." His television series The Town was nominated for a BAFTA for Breakthrough Talent.

In the 2015 Edge Season, seven of the eight shows are regional or world premieres, both sides of the Atlantic are represented by three British playwrights, two New York stories and one Colorado playwright. The 8th show is the classic favorite "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?"
