Send Out Your Owls: 'Heirs of Hogwarts' Returns to Bovine Metropolis Theater Feb 22nd

By:

Hogwarts has been rebuilt and Rose Weasley, Albus Potter, and Scorpius Malfoy are all excited for a magical year at Hogwarts.

He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named has been destroyed, there surely is no evil left to threaten the Heirs of Hogwarts... or is there?

"I so loved the books and movies, so its really great to get to keep the story going," said Ravenclaw and improv actor, Miko Khan, "I loved HP, so much that I would literally fantasize about being at Hogwarts-- so this is like the closest thing to being there."

All the things you love about the Harry Potter universe will be displayed on stage: charms, Hogwarts houses, transfiguration, and magical creatures. Returning to Hogwarts has never been this funny. "Heirs of Hogwarts: An Improvised Adventure" is a loving fan-fiction parody of an entire year at Hogwarts.

And just like a Bag of Bertie Bott's every flavored beans, "Anything can happen," says Gryffindor and Dramaturg, Kent Welborn. "In Improv anything can happen, and then in the magical world of Harry Potter anything can happen double."

Experience a loving homage to the world of Harry Potter. With completely improvised story lines, this is a heartfelt send-up to the universe created by J.K. Rowling. Imagine a love letter in the form of spoof, and that's what witches, wizards and muggles will be enjoying every Friday at 8:00 p.m. at Bovine Metropolis Theater, returning February 22nd until May 16th.

Expect, "Magic," says Welborn.

Come by portkey, broom, or apparition to Bovine Metropolis Theater, to revel in all things magical. Your presence is requested, by the professors of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, first years are reminded not to do magic outside of school grounds. Mischief Managed!

"Heirs of Hogwarts: An Improvised Adventure" returns, Friday February 22, 2014 at 8:00 P.M. Tickets are $18 at the door, $16 ahead of time. Wear Hogwarts attire for $2 off your tickets.

Bovine Metropolis Theater is located at 1527 Champa Street in the heart of the Denver Theatre District. Bovine Metropolis Theater is an improv organization that teaches and performs theatrical improvisation which is the art of accepting the unknown gracefully.
