'Phantom' National Tour Press load-in at the Buell in Denver

On Tuesday February 24th and Wednesday February 25th, the US national tour of "The Phantom of the Opera" will welcome members of the press to the show's load-in at the Buell Theater.

On Tuesday, Phantom's 10-foot high, half-ton infamous chandelier that, during the performance, crashes onto the stage from the theatre ceiling is unveiled. It took five scenery shops over three months to construct this major scenic element containing over 35,000 beads. And on Wednesday, In preparation for the first performance in Denver, computerized and electrical sequences are tested for the candles in the stage deck, the travelator, the portcullis, etc.

The tour's Stage Manager and Advanced Stage Manager will be available for questions. So here is your chance to ask any questions you may have about the show and the tour. Post your questions in the feedback section below and we will try to get them answered and posted for you!

The Phantom of the Opera will settle into the Buell for a 3 1/3 week stay from February 25th through March 22nd. The tour features John Cudia (Phantom and Les Miserables on Broadway) as The Phantom and Trista Moldovan as Christine Daae'.
