NOW PLAYING: Miners Alley Playhouse Presents SWEET STORM - thru 7/8
Miners Alley Playhouse presents SWEET STORM by Scott Hudson playing now through July 8th. In 1960’s Florida Bo sweeps his lovely bride, Ruthie, up into the tree house he's built as a surprise for their wedding night, unaware that the fury of an infamous storm is rolling in from the gulf. Ruthie, recently paralyzed from the waist down, tentatively finds her way in their "honeymoon suite in the sky"—and in the mystery, wonder and promise of her role as a newlywed. The human heart's wild longing for union in conflict with its abiding need for self-preservation fuels the sweet storm between lover and beloved in this intimate love story that challenges our perceptions of marriage, faith, and love.
Husband and wife soul-mates Michael and Rachel Bouchard are Bo Harrison and his lovely bride, Ruthie and is directed by Robert Kramer.

Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m.; Sundays at 6 p.m. *(Sunday, July 8 is at 2 p.m.; no 6 p.m. performance that day).
