DAVINCI & MICHELANGELO DOME EXPERIENCE at Otterbox Digital Dome Theater

Genius Productions announces the national touring, theater production of DaVinci & Michelangelo: The Titans Experience has been formatted into an immersive, digital dome experience that will make its debut at the Otterbox Digital Dome in the Ft. Collins Museum of Discovery on August 18th, 2016 for an evening performance at 6:30pm.

Mark Rodgers, the creator and host of the multi-media performance, is also the curator of the DaVinci Machines and Michelangelo Exhibitions for North America.

Rodgers originally developed the idea to compare and contrast the two geniuses while curating the DaVinci and Michelangelo Exhibition in Denver, CO.

"I realized you can't talk about DaVinci without Michelangelo," explained Rodgers. "Many people don't know that they were not only contemporaries but also fierce competitors."

The performance has evolved over the last couple years starting as a tour of only DaVinci then, over time, Rodgers incorporated Michelangelo into his tours with the addition of the Michelangelo Exhibition arriving from Florence. According to Rodgers, the more tours and presentations he gave, the more information people wanted to know about these two monumental geniuses.

"We are so excited to be presenting our performing arts, theatre production in this digital dome format. This is the level we have always dreamed for our touring production. Presenting Live Theatre in a planetarium/dome is the cutting edge of immersive entertainment", Rodgers states.

"The attendee will be immersed in Michelangelo and DaVinci's artwork and inventions. The viewer will witness a combination of Live Theatre and a three story non-stop presentation that will be sure to amaze and has never been seen before", continue Rodgers.

This dome experience, formatted and created by Dome Masters of Denver, CO., is multi-media event. The viewer can expect a combination of host Rodgers and a presentation that includes movies, 3D-animations of machines and inventions, images of codices, artwork, paintings and sculptures. "DaVinci and Michelangelo have an outreach and following that everyone can relate to," explained Rodgers. "Everything they said and did relates to our lives today."

This Broadway style production, having been successfully touring the United State, now formatted for a planetarium / dome experience is scheduled to tour domestically and internationally bringing in a whole new audience and perspective to these incredible geniuses.
