CRT’s final show for the 2012 season is open!

It’s 1919, and novelist Franklin Woolsey has died, dictating his latest novel to his devoted secretary, Myra. But she continues to type anyway, claiming she’s still receiving dictation, and dutifully sends each chapter to the publisher under her late employer’s name. (Woolsey’s widow – who hasn’t heard a word from her husband – is understandably vexed.) Is Myra channeling the dead author? Is she merely an artful forger? Where did the words used to come from, and where do they come from now? You will not want to miss this powerful tale of inspiration, expiration, and vicarious love.

Locals can see Ghost-Writer for $10! If you are a Mineral County or San Luis Valley resident with a local ID, join CRT for a locals appreciation performance today, September 9th at 7:00PM. Ghost-Writer will run in the Ruth Humphreys Brown Theatre through September 21st. The locals appreciation offer is not available online, you must call or visit the CRT Box Office to receive your discount. Call 719.658.2540 for more information.
