The well-loved characters of Arnold Lobel's classic Frog and Toad stories hop from page to stage. Remaining true to the spirit of the original stories, the show follows two great friends (the cheerful, popular Frog and the rather grumpy Toad) through four, fun-filled seasons. Waking from hibernation in the spring, they proceed to plant gardens, swim, rake leaves, go sledding, celebrate Christmas and learn life lessons along the way. A jazzy upbeat score that bubbles with melody and wit makes this inventive, musical destined to be a holiday classic.

Frog and Toad earned three Tony Award nominations in 2003 for Best Musical, Best Book for a Musical and Best Original Score.

"This is, quite simply, one of the most enchanting musical comedies that I have ever come across," said the show's director Scott RC Levy, FAC Director of Performing Art and Producing Artistic Director. "Perfect for all ages, the characters of A Year with Frog and Toad are sure to delight everybody this holiday season. Bring the whole family to a performance that will leave you with smiles on your faces."

The Tony-nominated holiday musical comedy, A Year with Frog and Toad, is entering its final two weeks at the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center's historic SaG?Ji Theatre. The show runs through Dec. 23.
