Candlelight Dinner Playhouse Holds WIZARD OF OZ Auditions April 13

The Candlelight Dinner Playhouse will hold auditions for the musical The Wizard of Oz on Monday, April 13, 2009 at the theater. This production will be directed by Peter F. Muller and choreographed by Brian Burron, with musical direction by Troy Schuh.

Roles are available for Equity and Non-Equity Actors, Singers and Dancers. Auditions are by appointment only and can be made by calling the box office at (970) 744-3747.

Equity appointments are from 10:00AM to 11:30AM. Open audition appointments are from 12:30PM to 3:00PM. Children's auditions (age 18 and under) are from 3:00-5:00.

Auditioners should prepare 16 bars of two contrasting songs in the musical theater style. Bring Headshot/Resume and sheet music in the key you will be singing in. An accompanist will be provided. No taped accompaniment or a capella singing will be accepted. Equity members must have current ID card. The roles of the Scarecrow, Tinman and Lion have been cast.

If interested in the role of Dorothy, you should be between the ages of 14-25.
