Buntport Presents THE REMBRANDT ROOM

Buntport Theater Company is currently creating their next world premiere production, a collaboration with local playwright Ellen K. Graham. This new comedy will open this December and more information will be sent out as the play develops. For now, we are happy to announce that the second full-length production of our 18th season will be a remount of the award-winning dark comedy The Rembrandt Room.
Winner of the Colorado Theatre Guild Henry Award for Outstanding New Play in 2015, this solo performance weaves together real events from the lives of legends such as Rembrandt and Catherine the Great with mythological tales of Zeus and Danaë with the fictionalized story of a museum security guard.
This production will return to the Buntport stage for three weeks, which will be followed by a weekend of performances at the Longmont Museum and Cultural Center.
For fans of talk-backs and behind-the scenes treats, on Wednesday February 27th, join Buntport for an installment of their new series The Peas and Carrots. Mixing a comedy talk show with a theater talkback with Behind the Music, patrons will get insight into the making of The Rembrandt Room. It will be a funny, informative evening, complete with guest speakers and opportunities to ask questions.
The Rembrandt Room plays February 15th-March 2nd, 2019 at Buntport Theater, March 8th and 9th at the Longmont Museum, Thursday-Saturdays at 8:00, One Sunday performance on February 24th at 3:00, One Monday performance on February 25th at 8:00 (pay-what-you-can)
