Conversations Behind the Curtain- A new BETC Theatre Class for adults, starting March 30th!

Join BETC's Producing Ensemble Director Stephen Weitz for an enlightening series of discussions about the process and practice of creating theatre. By reading scripts from previous, present and future BETC productions, student will learn how a professional company takes a play from the page to the stage. Discussions will touch on script analysis, conceptualization, casting, design process, rehearsals, and all the behind-the-scenes work that result in the finished product you see on our stages. Classes will include guest artists such as BETC actors and designers. Student will also attend a private dress rehearsal of An Empty Plate in the Cafe du Grand Boeuf. This is a unique opportunity to experience the inner workings of your favorite Boulder theatre!

Wednesday evenings, 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
March 30th - May 4th
Fee: $95
Location: St. Aidan's Church, 2425 Colorado Avenue, Boulder
