Episode 5 of Evatt Salinger's video blog for BroadwayWorld on the way to the National High School Musical Theatre Awards in New York. Salinger, of Durango High School, last month was named Outstanding Actor at the 2015 Bobby G Awards at the Denver Center. He advances to the national competition, which culminates with a performance on a Broadway stage for The Jimmy Awards in New York City. In this episode, Salinger recounts his second day in New York, his first full day of rehearsal, and seeing his first Broadway show: "An American in Paris."
