BOULDER INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL Annoucnes Opening Night Gala at Boulder Theater
The Boulder International Film Festival (BIFF) is pleased to announce that tickets are now available for its Opening Night Gala and Feature Film, BORG VS. MCENROE, starring Shia LaBeouf as John McEnroe and Sverrir Gudnason as Bjorn Borg. BIFF kicks off its 14th year on February 22 - 25, 2018 and brings films, filmmakers and fans together from around the world to beautiful downtown Boulder for a four-day celebration of the fine art of filmmaking.

BORG VS. MCENROE received notable accolades as the Opening Night Film at the Toronto International Film Festival and was the People's Choice Award Winner at the Rome Film Festival. The Opening Night Red Carpet Gala includes two pre-film parties at the Hotel Boulderado and Rembrandt Yard Art Gallery and Events Center. The parties will offer wine from exclusive sponsor Francis Ford Coppola, and feature delicious Italian and New Orleans style fare prior to the film. Long-time Boulder favorite Pasta Jay's Catering will serve up tasty Italian dishes at the Rembrandt Yard party, and will include housemade specialties such as Chicken Parmesan, Tortollone Alfredo, Manicotti, and dessert. New to town is gala sponsor The French Quarter Brasserie, which will serve Jambalaya, Chicken Sausage Gumbo, Vegan Red Beans and Rice, Hushpuppies, and King Cake (in celebration of Mardi Gras) at the Hotel Boulderado.
BIFF's traditional costumed characters, local craft beer, live music, and a "Second Line" band will lead both sets of gala attendees and revelers over to the Boulder Theater, which will sure to be a festive Red Carpet opening to BIFF 2018!
