Reedy Point Players and Premier Center for the Arts Present THE OUTSIDERS This Weekend

The Reedy Point Players LTD. will be teaming up with the Premier Centre for the Arts to present the massive stage production of The Outsiders this weekend, October 3-5, 2014.

Originally performed in May 2014 with the Reedy Point Players, the production was heavily praised amongst audiences and critics. The original run on the Delaware City stage broke numerous records for the theatre group. Due to the popularity of the performance and the limited 3-show run, the Reedy Point Players decided to bring the production back to the stage as an official encore!

All the original actors along with the director will reprise their roles in the new production, as well as adding additional actors. This newly revamped version of the show will bring back all the elements the audiences originally loved and more! They will get to experience the entire Outsider story on a more intimate level that is more fitting inside the Black Box theatre at the Premier Centre for the Arts (PCA). They will get to see all their favorite characters (Ponyboy, Johnny, Dallas, Two-Bit, and Cherry) up close and personal. The two theatre companies, Reedy Point Players LTD. and the Premier Centre for the Arts will both co-produce The Outsiders: Encore.

In addition to bringing this show back to the stage to please audiences, this performance is also designed as a thank you to all the "Reedy Point Player supporters" who continue to come out and support the local arts.

The Outsiders: Encore production will run for a limited 4 performances, October 3 & 4 at 8pm and October 4 & 5 at 2pm. This production will be performed at the Premier Centre for the Arts, 27 Anderson Street, Middletown, DE 19709. Tickets are $10 (senior, active military, student) and $12 (adult). The Outsiders is written by Christopher Sergel, adapted from the novel by S.E. Hinton. Produced by special arrangement with THE DRAMATIC PUBLISHING COMPANY of Woodstock, Illinois.
