About this studio
The Cleveland Tango School has operated in Cleveland, Ohio since 2015, dedicated to promoting access to art and creative expression in the region through the study of Argentine tango as a practice. Rather than running a conventional studio timetable, it partners with local venues to host recurring events: a weekly all-levels drop-in tango class with live music at Treelawn Music Hall, La Tertulia Tango Salon on the first and third Wednesdays at Riff's Libations & Creations, a free monthly Open Orchestra Jam for volunteer musicians at Treelawn Social Club, and an intermediate partner seminar on Saturday mornings at The Brownhoist. Structured Tango 101 and Tango 102 courses and private lessons are also offered.
