The story focuses upon a young farmer, his wife, and a young servant-girl who maliciously causes the wife's arrest for witchcraft. The farmer brings the girl to court to admit the lie-and it is here that the monstrous course of bigotry and deceit is terrifyingly depicted. The farmer, instead of saving his wife, finds himself also accused of witchcraft and ultimately condemned with a host of others.

Our legal name is "The Little Theatre of Conroe, Inc." and our Dba is "The Crighton Players". We are a 501(c)3 organization and we stage our productions in the OWEN Theatre located at 225 Metcalf Street, Conroe, Texas 77301. Our theatre opened with the 2008-2009 season production of "Wait Until Dark", but we've been doing theatre for our community for over 35 years. We recently moved from our former venue "The Crighton Theatre".

The Owen Theatre is a newly renovated building owned by the City of Conroe and is a "state of the Art" facility seating 250 patrons.
