Did you know that Bach was Chopin's favorite composer? Become a classical music insider when virtuoso pianist and entertaining storyteller Jeffrey Siegel returns to our stage with a program exploring Bach's influence on Chopin. Hear vivacious dances, dramatic preludes, and romantic, improvisational fantasies by both composers. Delivered with humor and a deep admiration for the music, Mr. Siegel's performance will make you fall in love with this charming music. An interactive Q and A will conclude this program. The 2017-2018 Season of Keyboard Conversations® is presented in part through the generosity of Dr. John F. Dixon

In addition to his solo appearances, Jeffrey Siegel presents Keyboard Conversations®, concerts with lively commentary in an innovative format that differs from traditional recitals and appearances with symphony orchestras. A Keyboard Conversation is a concert with each work on the program performed in its entirety. Mr. Siegel speaks briefly and informally to the audience before performing each composition, illustrating with a few pertinent musical examples from the keyboard.
