Dates Adjusted For WaterTower Theatre 2011-2012 Season Performances

Terry Martin, Producing Artistic Director for WaterTower Theatre today announced some minor adjustments to the Company's 2011-2012 season performance calendar. The date changes have been made as a long-term, proactive strategy to mitigate against a continuance of the economic downturn that has been forecast by many economists for the coming year.

While subscription renewals for the 2011-2012 season are higher than the previous season with new subscription sales on track to meet projections, single ticket sales and some areas of contributed income could be adversely affected by a further slowing of the economy. Therefore, MR. Martin decided that a small reduction in overhead by the elimination of five performances out of each run was in the best interest of the Company during these uncertain economic times.

Performance dates for WaterTower Theatre's 2011-2012 season have been adjusted as follows:

Spring Awakening: September 30 - October 23, 2011
The Diary of Anne Frank: January 6 - January 29, 2012
August: Osage County: March 30 - April 22, 2012
Boeing-Boeing: May 25 - June 17, 2012
Smokey Joe's Café: July 20 - August 12, 2012

The dates for Rockin' Christmas Party and the Out of the Loop Fringe Festival remain unchanged.

Any subscribers affected by the date adjustments are being offered comparable seating for other performance dates as available seating allows. Please adjust your calendar listings accordingly. Please also note that the opening night performances for each of the shows listed above remain the same, on a Monday evening after the Friday and Saturday preview performances and the Sunday Pay What You Can performance.

The Company's weekly performance schedule remains unchanged: Wednesday through Saturday evening; Sunday matinee. There is one Saturday matinee on the final weekend of each performance run.
Subscriptions are currently on sale for the Company's 2011-2012 season. Single tickets for the first two shows of the season, Spring Awakening and Rockin' Christmas Party, go on sale September 6th.
