Chance Theatre Holds Chance Gala 2010, 9/18

By:

The Chance Theater, Anaheim's award-winning professional theater company, has announced plans for Chance Gala 2010, a spectacular evening of dining, dancing and entertainment under the stars at Wellandia, an exclusive outdoor amphitheater in Anaheim Hills.

The Gala evening begins at 5:00 pm with a seated VIP dinner with Chance Company Members. At 6:30 pm, there will be an intimate open bar cocktail reception with hors d'oeuvres. At 7:30 pm, the Chance will present an exclusive showcase, featuring performances from Chance artists, which will culminate with the announcement of our 2011 Season. Following the performance, there will be dancing as well as a VIP after-party.

At the event, the Chance will be honoring one of our long-time arts patrons for their support of the Chance's mission of "producing high quality theater in an intimate space." An Orange County arts educator will also be recognized for unshakeable devotion to developing, supporting, and inspiring the next generation of artists that will emerge in the coming years.

The funds raised by this event directly support the Chance's many innovative, community-based education and outreach programs, as well as our goal of increasing the number of professional artist contracts during the 2011 Season.

Tickets to this exciting event start at $95; underwriting opportunities are also available. For more information, please contact Managing Director Casey Long at (714) 777-3033 or via e-mail at casey@chancetheater.com.

Nominated in 2010 for six Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Awards and six Los Angeles Stage Alliance Ovation Awards, Chance Theater is proud to be one of the leading ensemble based theatre companies in Southern California. Twice named "Outstanding Arts Organization" by Arts Orange County, Chance Theater is a recipient of the 2007 Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle's Polly Warfield Award for Excellence. As a constituent member of Theater Communications Group (TCG), Network of Ensemble Theaters (NET), and the Los Angeles Stage Alliance (LASA), the Chance continues to bring national attention to the Southern California theater scene.
