his potential genius. The heart-warming tale of a small town all-American boy is told with
care, detail and humor. Buddy -The Buddy Holly Story finally explodes into a celebration of youth and lust for life in a re-creation of his last concert at Clear Lake!

This immaculately staged production gives some of the nation's best musical talent the
chance to perform Buddy Holly's music as it will always be remembered and always
should be performed -with youth, joy and boundless enthusiasm! Gregg Hammer is the man behind the glasses and plays Buddy with all of his youthful determination and amazing creative genius; Khaalid Rivera is an electrifying Ritchie Valens - guaranteed to shock the ladies! - and Bobby Schultz is the lovable, larger than life Big Bopper.

Buddy - The Buddy Holly Story opens on July 7th and runs thru August 1st for 4 weeks. Performance times are Wednesday and Sunday matinees at 2pm. Evening performances are Wednesday and Thursday at 7:30pm, Friday and Saturday at 8pm. Tickets are $38 for adults, $33 for seniors, $20 for students and $15 for children and are available by calling The Playhouse box office at 860-767-7318 or by visiting our website at www.ivorytonplayhouse.org (Group rates are available by calling the box office for information.) The Playhouse is located at 103 Main Street in Ivoryton.
