Weathervane Playhouse, Ohio's longest-running summer stock theatre, officially kicks off its expansion into the Winter Season with "LES MISERABLES".

Get swept away to 19th century France as we bring this classic Victor Hugo novel to life through the beautiful music and lyrics of Schönberg and Boublil. Follow the melodies to "I Dreamed A Dream," "On My Own," "Bring Him Home," and many more in this 13-times Tony award winning musical. Join us on the amazing journey of Jean Valjean who served 19 years in prison for stealing a loaf of bread to help feed his sister's starving child and is relentlessly tracked down afterwards by inspector Javert. Through the kindness of a locAl Bishop, compassion and love of others during his struggle for redemption, Valjean faces his demons to find peace with God and himself. With the characters ranging from the comedic Thénardier's to the classic story of Cossette and Marius's young love, you won't want to miss this classic tale told in true dramatic and emotional fashion at Weathervane Playhouse.

Performances are December 19 - 21 and Decemeber 26-28 at 8 PM and special matinee performances December 21 and 29 at 2 PM
