Shaker Theatre Cancels Production of RENT
Shaker Theatre has announced that they are cancelling their upcoming production of RENT, "due to both state and district health recommendations."
They have stated that they are still working on details of how the students will be able to finish this production, but have decided that no public performances will be held.
The production will not be rescheduled.
In the statement, Shaker Theatre said, "At the time of this posting, we are working with district admins to find a way for students to continue their participation in the Playhouse Square Dazzle Awards. Whether or not that will include an audience is still being worked out. Thank you for your continued support of our program."
RENT was set to play March 19th, 20th, and 21st at 7 pm, in the Large Auditorium at Shaker Heights High School, 15911 Aldersyde Drive, Shaker Heights, OH 44120.
