The holidays are coming up fast, and Shadowbox Live is offering a midday alternative to the hustle and bustle of the season with The Holiday Lunchbox, opening December 2 at Easton Town Center.

As the companion to Holiday Hoopla, The Holiday Lunchbox is a 45-minute stocking stuffer of laughs and music beginning at noon. Filled with Holiday sketches and songs from Shadowbox Live's 20+ year "Hoopla history," The Holiday Lunchbox is also home to The Snow Bunnies, a trio set to unwrap some hilarious antics and some very special versions of your favorite Christmas standards.

Whether you're hosting your company holiday party or just looking for a break from holiday shopping, spend your lunchtime with the metaperformers of Shadowbox Live at The Holiday Lunchbox!

Sketches will include:

Figgy Pudding - An unassuming choir director desperately tries to hold the reigns of a vocal arrangement that is running away without her.

Santa's Secret Service - Santa's paramilitary force, led by the militant reindeer Dasher, is looking for new recruits. Santa's Secret Service could be for you!

The Firstest Christmas - The 3rd grade students at the Montessori School have written and directed their own pageant explaining the origins of our Christmas traditions.

Explore Perfume - This Christmas, treat yourself to the new perfume from Revlon, Explore . . . and see what happens.

Songs will include:

Happy Christmas by John Lennon
Backdoor Santa by B.B. King
Oi to the World by No Doubt
Sock it to me Santa by Bob Seger

The Holiday Lunchbox opens on Thursday, December 2nd at 12:00 Noon, and runs Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays at 12:00 Noon through December 23rd, 2010, with an additional performance on Tuesday, December 21st. Tickets are $10 / $5 for students, seniors, and active military.
