Twenty five years ago, three women hit the stage in a small warehouse black box theater to perform a silly holiday act for the very first time. Little did they know that very act would someday become an iconic part of the holiday season for thousands of people ... The Santa Babies!! And in a few short weeks, those same three ladies will hit the stage again for their twenty-fifth anniversary in Holiday Hoopla 2016 at Shadowbox Live!

Holiday Hoopla, called the "Granddaddy of all holiday shows" mixes sketch comedy with seasonal music and features the hilarious send-up The Santa Babies. Shadowbox Live's longest running show, Holiday Hoopla has been entertaining audiences for a quarter of century and has become a Columbus holiday tradition.

And on November 17th, the three original Santa Babies, Stacie Boord, Julie Klein, and Stephanie Shull, will once again be entertaining audiences with their "so bad it's good" lounge style act.

"People just love The Santa Babies," says Klein, who plays Dixie, the cynical and sexual leader of the trio. "What started out as this very silly little experiment has become an integral piece of some families' holiday tradition!"

Completing Dixie's trio are Shull's Dorothy, a very earnest and overly serious performer, and Boord's Dolly, who bounces around the stage innocently and hilariously oblivious.

"Dolly is a ball of energy," says Boord. "Smiley, full of laughs, but not very smart. Look out for her signature frilly panty flashes!"

And Dorothy?

"She's great!" yells Shull in her deep Dorothy voice. "If you want to see how the performance is supposed to look, you just watch Dorothy! She rehearses a lot more than the other girls!"

Together the three lounge ladies create an unforgettable, side-splittingly hilarious act that has been closing out the Holiday Hoopla shows for twenty-five years! And as for their faithful accompanist? Well, let's just say another original character is returning to the Shadowbox stage, but you'll have to come see the show to find out!
