Singing and tap dancing are the heart of this hysterical spoof of 1930s Hollywood musicals. It's the story of Ruby, the sweet, innocent girl who takes a bus to razz-ma-tazzy NUC and instantly becomes a star on Broadway, while falling in love at first sight with a songwriter sailor named Dick. But where will Ruby and the other Broadway beauties shine when the theatre is suddenly torn down? On a Navy battle ship, of course, where Dick and his best pal Lucky get their wish -Dames at Sea!
Tickets are $25 each and can be reserved by calling the Otterbein University box office at (614) 823-1109 or purchased online at www.otterbein.edu/drama. The box office is open 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday through Friday and one hour prior to performances. Student rush discounts are available one hour prior to curtain, pending ticket availability. The box office is located in Cowan Hall, 30 S. Grove St., Westerville.
