THE LAST NIGHT OF BALLYHOO takes place in Atlanta, Georgia, in December of 1939. Gone with the Wind is having its world premiere, and Hitler is invading Poland, but Atlanta's elitist German Jews are much more concerned with who is going to Ballyhoo, the social event of the season. As preparations are being made for this lavish event, an unexpected visitor arrives to cause the Freitag family to re-examine their Jewish beliefs and the identities that they have come to accept as their own.

King Avenue Players proudly presents "The Last Night of Ballyhoo" in the sanctuary of King Avenue United Methodist Church, 299 King Ave., Columbus, OH on Thursday, March 23, Friday, March 24, Saturday, March 25 at 7:30pm. There will be a 3:00pm matinee on Sunday, March 26. Childcare will be provided during the Friday evening and Sunday afternoon performances. Admission is free, but a $10 donation is encouraged.
