January Shows Taking Shape at Shadowbox Live!
Amidst the preparations for Shadowbox Live's New Year's Eve celebration, the metaperformers are putting the finishing touches on their next sketch comedy and rock 'n' roll show Body Heat and beginning rehearsals for their next tribute show: Evolutionaries: The Music and Stories of David Bowie and Prince.
Body Heat, Shadowbox Live's annual sex-love-relationship show, opens Thursday, January 5 at 7:30pm. The troupe gives a wink and a nod to America's favorite topic and pokes fun at everything from the first date to the last (and everything in between!). Rounding out the show, Shadowbox Live house band BillWho? is ready to 'bring sexy back" with rock tunes that range from flirty to dirty.

Evolutionaries: The Music and Stories of David Bowie and Prince pays tribute to these two iconic artists. Shadowbox Live plans to perform selections from each musicians' catalogue and to share the stories of their lives. While the show is still being crafted, Shadowbox Live hopes to explore the impact, not just of the music, but of the artists themselves, on our world. Evolutionaries opens Thursday, January 26 at 7:30pm.
Both shows will take place at Shadowbox Live, 503 South Front Street.
Body Heat is presented by The Lion's Den and opens Thursday, January 5 and runs Fridays at Saturdays thereafter until March 18.
Evolutionaries: The Music and Stories of David Bowie and Prince opens Thursday, January 26 and runs Wednesdays, Thursdays, and select Sundays until May 25.
