About Daryl Stuermer
Daryl Stuermer has been touring the world to sold-out crowds since 1978, creating the signature guitar sound of the Phil Collins mega hits "In the Air Tonight" and "Easy Lover." As co-writer of the Phil Collins 1989 Grammy Award-winning, Billboard No. 4 single "Something Happened on the Way to Heaven," Stuermer continues to write music for his eight solo albums of original music and cover his favorite Genesis tunes along the way.

Stuermer burst onto the national music scene in 1975, when he began touring in Europe with jazz violinist Jean-Luc Ponty and went on to record three innovative albums with him. In 1978, Stuermer became the lead guitarist and a touring member of the super-group Genesis and went on to be an original member of the Phil Collins band. In between touring, he has released nine solo albums and performed with his own band. His newest project, the Daryl Stuermer Band, continues to expand on his accomplishments.
