Due to an overwhelming response to the Columbus Symphony's upcoming performance of Star Wars in Concert on Friday, October 6, a second performance has been added on Saturday, October 7, at 8pm. Tickets for the added performance will go on sale to the public at 10am on Friday, September 8.

Since the release of the first movie nearly 40 years ago, the Star Wars saga has had a seismic impact on both cinema and culture. Star Wars in Concert offers audiences an unparalleled Star Wars experience with the iconic film that started it all, A New Hope (1977), projected on a 40-foot screen suspended above the Columbus Symphony as they perform every note of John Williams' Oscar-winning score live on stage.

The Columbus Symphony presents Star Wars in Concert at the Ohio Theatre (39 E. State St.) on Friday, October 6, and Saturday, October 7, at 8pm. Tickets are $40-$75 and can be purchased at the CAPA Ticket Center (39 E. State St.), all Ticketmaster outlets, and www.ticketmaster.com. To purchase tickets by phone, please call (614) 469-0939 or (800) 745-3000.

The 2017-18 Pops Series is made possible through the generous support of season sponsor American Electric Power.
