Third Time's a Charm: WICKED Tour Takes in $7 Million at Cleveland Box Office
Cleveland.com reports that the national tour of Wicked raked in an impressive $7 million in a four week span of what was the show's third Cleveland stop.
Reports Tony Brown: "More than 93,000 Northeast Ohioans paid nearly $7 million to see the third stopover here by the touring Broadway phenomenon that defies gravity and comparisons to other blockbusters. It left Sunday after four weeks.
Despite a short run in 2006, a blizzard in 2008 and a screaming hissy fit last week, the national tour of "Wicked" has racked up $19.3 million in ticket sales here for the New York producers."

As previously reported, on Tuesday, December 15, the Broadway engagement of Wicked will play its 2,535th performance, surpassing Avenue Q to become the 20th longest-running show in Broadway history.
