Production Team Positions - Pixie Dust Players

The mission of Pixie Dust Players is to share the magic of theatre with performers and audiences alike. We strive to produce high quality productions performed by children, teenagers, and young adults for audiences of all ages. We aim to nurture the talent and potential of both performers onstage and our team members offstage.



Additionally, whenever possible, we love to bring our productions to various outreach locations. So far, we have visited nursing homes, hospitals, and special education schools. We have also participated in and produced benefit performances for charities.

PAID OPPORTUNITIES (Stipend):

Positions open to ages 16+



PRODUCTION ASSISTANT: Assists with the production in any way possible. Job duties may include: taking notes helping to teach choreography, recording blocking, supervising children, cleaning up, working backstage, etc. Must be available for all rehearsals and performances (a few conflicts may be accepted prior to hiring). This position is a big commitment and should be filled by someone looking for an experience that includes many facets of theater.



STAGE MANAGER: Someone who is extremely organized and an excellent leader. Previous stage management experience a plus.



ASSISTANT CHOREOGRAPHER: Strong dancer able to help teach and clean choreography. Should also be comfortable choreographing sections with notice if needed.



MUSIC DIRECTOR: Needs are somewhat dependent on the show/program. If interested, please email a letter of interest and resume to info@pixiedustplayers.org



INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES:

Positions open to ages 13+



JUNIOR ASSISTANTS: Volunteers who assist throughout the process with whatever is needed. Commitment flexible. May be called to fill in for full-time assistants when needed.



SHOW ASSISTANTS: Volunteers ready to help with tech rehearsals and performances. Job duties include: helping with costume changes, supervising cast members, etc. Commitment is flexible, but availability must be given in advance.
