Henry Purcell's only true opera, Baroque masterpiece Dido and Aeneas, is presented in a double bill with Giacomo Puccini's raucous comedy, Gianni Schicchi, where we see a family passionately struggling to gain the inheritance of a dead relative, only to be outwitted by Gianni, who has his own passionate reasons to turn the tables! There is truly something for every opera lover in this double bill.
