THE BOOK OF MORMON, winner of nine Tony Awards including Best Musical, is pleased to announce a lottery ticket policy for the National Tour, which begins July 31 at the Aronoff Center and plays a limited one week engagement through August 5, 2018. In Cincinnati, the production will conduct a pre-show lottery at the box office, making a limited number of tickets available at $25 apiece.

Schulz features everyone's favorite Peanuts gang - Linus, Lucy, Snoopy, Sally, and more, all led by the lovable Charlie Brown - as they discover the true meaning of Christmas. When Charlie Brown becomes discouraged by the materialism of the season, Lucy convinces him to direct the neighborhood Christmas play. In typical Charlie Brown fashion, things go awry when he selects a tiny fir tree for the production. It's up to Linus to save the day and remind everyone of the real message of the holiday.  
Educational Theatre Association Honors Kansas Representative Jeff Pittman with Legislator Leadership Advocacy Award

The Educational Theatre Association (EdTA) annually awards the Legislator Leadership Award for Arts Education to a legislator who has demonstrated public leadership in support of theatre and other arts education policy and practice on a national or state level. This year's recipient is Kansas Representative Jeff Pitman.

This production reunites the cast from two previous comedy hit productions from CSC summers past: The Complete History of America (abridged) and All the Great Books (abridged). Cincinnati Symphony Concertmaster Timothy Lees to Step Down Due to Injury

The Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra (CSO) announced that Timothy Lees is stepping down as Concertmaster, a title designated for the first-chair violin, at the conclusion of the 2017-18 season. Mr. Lees, who began his tenure with the CSO in June of 1998, will become Concertmaster Emeritus in September, remaining a member of the CSO's first violin section.

Disney's Aladdin is celebrating a sold-out, two-week premiere engagement in Cincinnati, which concluded on June 10 at the Aronoff Center. The touring production, which the Cincinnati Enquirer called, "an outright spectacle; glitzy, playful, sassy and extravagant," grossed over $2.8 million at the box office and entertained more than 40,000 theatergoers during 16 performances.
