Cincinnati Shakespeare Company presents the 2013 FREE Shakespeare in the Park Tour sponsored by Kroger. CSC will present 20 performances of their touring productions of "Romeo & Juliet" and "A Midsummer Night's Dream" throughout the Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky area at local community parks and venues. These performances are FREE and open to the public.

"Romeo & Juliet" is directed by CSC Ensemble Member Nicholas Rose and "A Midsummer Night's Dream" is directed by CSC Education Associate Miranda McGee. Both of these shows will have a classic Elizabethan style and feature original Shakespeare performance practices. The cast features six actors from CSC Resident Ensemble.

Following the Park Tour, these shows will travel and tour to local schools, community centers, venues and other performing arts locations through May 2014. Last year, CSC's FREE Shakespeare in the Park tour had nearly 5,000 people in attendance.

Cincinnati Shakespeare Company continues to partner with Cincinnati Parks and Recreation and offers free performances at Seasongood Pavilion in Eden Park, Burnet Woods and Mt. Echo Park as well as the new Smale Riverfront Park. Shakespeare in the Park will also tour to Washington Park again as well as parks in Madeira, Colerain, Glendale and Monroe, OH and Burlington, Edgewood and even Maysville, KY.
