The Beautiful City Project presents THE GOSPEL TRUTH: SECOND EDITION, a cabaret celebration for Black History Month featuring an all-Black cast and band. This production, held at Chicago Theater Works, raises funds for Sunshine Gospel Ministries, marking its 120th year. The performance includes songs from artists such as Donald Lawrence, Kirk Franklin, and Donnie McClurkin, and stars Felicia P. Fields, Eric Lewis, Robin DaSilva, and Sharriese Hamilton. The show is co-created and music directed by Matthew Hunter and David Fiorello, with Maulty Jewell leading the band.
