Village Players Theater Spooks Audiences With THEATRE OF SOULS 10/15-31

The first special event of Village Players Theater's season, "Theatre of Souls" will open at Village Players Performing Arts Center on Friday, October 16th, 2009 at 7:30. It is a original, never before seen show written by Joe Kennedy and Michael Kopala and directed by Eileen Tull. It runs until Saturday, October 31st, 2009.

"Theatre of Souls" is an exploration of the strange, the macabre, and the terrifying. This is the tale of three souls who run afoul of the mysterious Randolph L. Howard. It unfolds within the intimate confines of Village Players studio performance space, which brings you eerily close to the three souls and the fate that awaits them. Learn what lurks in their minds, what haunts their dreams, and what scares them. For the suspenseful shock of your life, you must see "Theatre of Souls."

The cast includes Nick Bonges, Liz Chase, Jon Cohen, and Shelley Geiszler. The designers are Carole Brown (stage manager and props), Mary Aurora Moore (scenic), and Lisa Tiess (sound).

"Theater of Souls" opens on October 16th, 2009 at 7:30 pm. The show will run on Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 pm and Sundays at 2:30 pm until October 25, 2009. There will be two special performances on Halloween weekend at 7:00 pm and 10:00 pm on both Friday, October 30th and Saturday, October 31st, 2009. Group rates are available for parties of six or more. Tickets are $20 for adults and $16 for seniors and students with an I.D. All performances will be found at the Village Players Performing Arts Center, 1010 Madison St., Oak Park. The theater is near the Harlem exit of I-290 and is also accessible by the CTA Green and Blue lines. Plenty of parking is available on the street. Village Players Theater is handicapped accessible but please do call ahead to arrange for special seating.
