Metropolis to Open 15th Season with MOON OVER BUFFALO, 7/9-8/16

By:

Metropolis kicks off its 15th Anniversary Season with Ken Ludwig's comedy Moon Over Buffalo presented by Eclectic Full Contact Theatre July 9 - August 16, 2015.

Get an inside look at life backstage in the 50's in this madcap comedy. George and Charlotte Hay's careers as big time stars are fading as the family performs in Buffalo, New York - a far cry from the bright lights of Broadway. But when a big time producer wants to see Charlotte for a movie role, can they get their act together in time to make a good impression? "Moon Over Buffalo is hilarious! Ludwig stuffs his play with comic invention, running gags and neat sense of absurdity. An evening of farcical delight," raves the New York Post.

Director David Belew is working with a superb cast, including local cast member Andrew Pond of Libertyville.

Preview performances of Moon Over Buffalo at Metropolis are July 9-12, 2015. Regular run performances are July 16 - August 16, 2015. Specific dates and times are listed below.
