"Grease is the word" when you want to purchase tickets!
Quite a number of tickets have already been sold for Grease since tickets became available in September. If you have a group that would like to see one of the shows, contact the theater for the best available seating as early as possible. Regular ticket prices are $17 Adult, $14 Senior, and $10 Student/Child. Seats in the first three rows are $1 more per ticket.

Calling all carpenters, painters, and support crew! We are looking for Grease set construction help following the close of Dracula. We need some skilled and want-to-be skilled help for working on the set. Please contact the theater at 642-0404 or by email itplacerville@yahoo.com to let us know you are interested. We'll be working hard and fast (like those home improvement shows on television-except nothing is edited for a one hour show J).

Charlotte's Web Auditions - October 16
The timeless story of unlikely friends called "the best American children's book of the past two hundred years."

Audition Date: October 16th, 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Comprising mostly of cold readings, character improv, and movement. Callbacks: 2:00 pm to 4:00 p.m. the same day. Shows scheduled for February 2011.

Director: Bradley Cameron, gollum3@sbcglobal.net

Quilters Auditions - October 23
Auditions for Quilters are right around the corner. Auditioners will be seen in the order in which they arrive on October 23rd between noon and 4:00pm . When finished singing a hymn or folk song (please bring sheet music) auditioners will be taken thru a few bars of movement and then excused. If called back on October 24th, auditioners will be expected to show at 9:00 a.m. and stay until 1:00 p.m. or when excused. A monologue will be given to all those called back. They will have overnight to build/develop a character. No memorization--just purposeful character-driven reads from a script. More music and dance will be part of callbacks.

Addison adds: "The staff of Quilters is very excited to cast this show. We welcome all actresses from 14 - 40ish to go for this challenge. Ensemble musicals are great fun and stretch one's skills as well as double the fun in a production like this. This show is actual living history, as the script was taken directly from the women's diaries from the prairie. The show is truthful, impacting and powerful - and so is the camaraderie and fun! The music is perfect for the setting and fun to learn."
The stage will be different for this show: "Doing the show "in the round" adds to the challenge and learning experience for all of us. We hope to see you there," notes Addison . E-mail Chrissie Addison if you have any questions about auditions at: foothillsinger@comcast.net
