Chicago Improv Fest Opens With GayCo Tonight 4/13 At Lakeshore Theater

By: Apr. 13, 2009

If the IOC was still in Chicago, tonight's gay comedy extravanza would certainly have been an official 'Back the Bid' event.
TONIGHT! Monday April 13th at 7:30 PM
Just like Iowa, the Chicago Improv Festival is going gay.
GayCo opens the night with a completely improvised show based on a 'personal ad' selected by the audience. Sub chub cubby looking for a hubby? Dom top drag king daddy looking for clean cut couple? It's all inspiration for an unforgettable comedy performance.

followed by:

DykeProv: Second City performer Abby McEnany and GayCo ensemble member Celeste Pechous spin improv gold from a single audience suggestion.

GayMondo: Some of the best comedians in the city create spontaneous comedy based on the true life tales of a guest monologist. Featuring Honey West!
