Chicago Children's Theatre announced today a two-week extension of its current smash hit musical, A Year with Frog and Toad.

Originally scheduled to close October 29, families should jump on this new block of tickets now on sale for new performances added through Sunday, November 12.

Based on Arnold Lobel's beloved Frog and Toad book series, the titular amphibians leap from the page to the stage in this heartwarming, all-ages musical that follows two best friends - the cheerful, popular Frog and the rather grumpy Toad - through a friendship that endures over four fun-filled seasons.

Don't let your kids miss what the Chicago Tribune hailed "a lovely hour to add to your life." All tickets are $35.

Or, families can still save money by adding A Year with Frog and Toad to a variety of Chicago Children's Theatre 2017-18 multi-show Subscription Packages.

Chicago Children's Theatre is presenting A Year with Frog and Toad at its new home, The Station, 100 S. Racine Ave., in the heart of Chicago's West Loop community. Show times remain Tuesday through Friday at 10 a.m., Saturday at 10:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and

3 p.m., and Sunday at 10:30 am and 12:30 p.m. For single tickets, subscriptions and more information, visit chicagochildrenstheatre.org or call (872) 222-9555.
