Big Deal Productions Stages STEEL MAGNOLIAS This Weekend

Big Deal Productions managed by the Buffalo Grove Park District is pleased to offer STEEL MAGNOLIAS, which is packed with laughter, love and everything in the middle. STEEL MAGNOLIAS will be performed and the brand new, state-of-the-art Buffalo Grove Park District's Community Arts Center, 225 McHenry Road, from tonight, January 14th through January 17th. Performances are: January 14, 15, 16 at 7:30pm and January 16,17 at 2:00pm.

Tickets can be purchased in advanced up until January 14th for $18. Day of purchases will be $20. We're offering a 'Treat Yourself Package' for $35, which will include a ticket to the show, a free manicure gift certificate good towards The Best Salon & Spa and a drink of your choice at the show. Six dynamic women come together in this hilarious and heartwarming story of life, love, and loss in a small Louisiana beauty salon. The relationships and interactions of these characters will cause you to laugh, cry, and be reminded of what a treasure is life. Director Karen Shuman says, "STEEL MAGNOLIAS shares 'laughter through tears' because when we can laugh during our deepest pain we know there's hope. But to make one steel is to show the strength in the blossom, in the vulnerability, and in the heart."

Wine and beer, along with tasty snacks, will be available for purchase prior to the show and during intermission. Raffles of exciting items will take place throughout the run of the show.
