Alana Jones, Joe McCourt and Lindsey Schroeder. Music Direction is by John Coffey and Marty Gregory; this production is directed by Anne Lambert.

Songs to be featured in the production include: “Timid Frieda”, “The Girls and the Dogs”, “Fanette”, “No Love, You're Not Alone”, and perhaps Jacques Brel's most well-known song “If You Go Away” ("Ne me quitte pas").

Performances are May 31 – June 11, 2023. Tickets are $35 and will be on sale soon; go to www.charlottesoffbroadway.com for all the details!

Jacques Brel was a Belgian singer and actor who composed and performed literate, thoughtful, and theatrical songs that generated a large, devoted following—initially in Belgium and France, later throughout the world. He is considered a master of the modern chanson (a music hall or cabaret song). This show is a musical revue of Brel songs that were translated into English by Eric Blau and Mort Shuman, who also provided the story.
