(06/17/2013) - This summer The Broadway Dreams Foundation kicked off the 2013 Summer Performing Arts Intensive Tour, CIRCLE OF DREAMS with all-new programming in Atlanta and Charlotte. Both cities participated in the first-ever Dream Lab which allowed students to collaborate with the entire BDF creative team to workshop the numbers and material to be presented as part of the tour. (05/23/2013) - High school seniors of the University of North Carolina School of the Arts (UNCSA) got the graduation ceremony of their dreams on Saturday, May 18, when Disney Theatrical Group President Thomas Schumacher delivered their commencement address, and the diplomas were presented by 'Mary Poppins' herself: UNCSA alumna Rachel Wallace. The two were introduced by a friend of Rosen's, who wasn't able to make the wedding, as a result of the weather and warnings throughout all the boroughs. The BroadwayWorld.com News Desk stayed feverish all weekend while the couple said 'I Do', as news was coming fast about theatre cancellations, schedule changes and travel advisories in addition to all things that were happening in other parts of the country and the world, not affected by the Northeast's local weather.
