ZUMBA Dance Party!!! Friday, June 18, 7-11 PM CAST, Zumba and YOR Health present a dance party to help kick off and raise funds for the upcoming CAST production of Real Women Have Curves
Come ready to dance and celebrate Latin Culture and wellness! ZUMBA is the hottest Latin Dance fitness craze being taught all over the country and abroad in gyms, schools, dance studios and living rooms. Now CAST is bringing it to the theatre! A team of instructors will be leading participants in an exciting, fun and easy-to-follow dance class set to Latin and International music. The evening will also include a freestyle Dance Party, healthy treats and drinks from YOR Health and other local vendors, raffle and prizes (including tickets to Real Women Have Curves). Bring your friends, your co-workers, your spouse. It's going to be a blast! Please wear comfortable clothing and dance shoes or sneakers.

Real Women Have Curves was written for the stage and adapted for film by author Josefina Lopez, winning the Audience Award and a Special Jury Prize at the 2002 Sundance Film Festival! Funny, rich, and vibrant, Real Women Have Curves is the story of the teenage Ana, torn between mainstream ambitions, cultural heritage, her struggle for higher education, and her place as a woman in the world.
This production is a hymn to family values and self esteem.
