Davidson Community Players' IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE Begins Tonight
By: BWW News Desk
Davidson Community Players presents the Christmas classic, It's a Wonderful Life. Based on the classic film, this enduring and endearing holiday classic reminds us the worth each life holds-that even the least important moment to one person may have the greatest influence on others. DCP will transform the Armour Street Theater into a radio studio and invite the audience to become part of the magic. Complete with sound effects, scripted commercials, and the actors playing multiple parts perform a radio version of the story. This is an uplifting show to share with the entire family.
Performances are at Armour Street Theatre in Davidson with shows tonight, December 4 and December 5, 6, 11, 12, 13, 18, 19, 20 at 8pm, December 14, and 21 at 7pm and December 7, 14, 20, 21 at 2 pm. Tickets are $20 for adults, $18 for seniors and $12 for students. Tickets can be purchased by calling the box office at 704-892-7953 or online at DavidsonCommunityPlayers.org. Davidson Community Players is a non-profit organization established in 1965 to produce theatre that entertains, enriches and encourages community participation in the dramatic arts. Now in its 49th season DCP is a previous winner of the North Carolina Theatre Conference "Community Theatre of the Year" award. We are grateful for the support of 2014 Season Sponsors: The McIntosh Law Firm, Davidson Wealth Management, Arts and Science Council and Randy Marion Cadillac. For more information, visit www.davidsoncommunityplayers.org.
