Totem Pole's MURDER FOR TWO Begins Performances This Weekend Totem Pole Playhouse, America's beloved summer theatre located in Caledonia State Park between Gettysburg and Chambersburg, PA, will present the murder mystery musical, Murder for Two, beginning with three low-cost $20.00 preview performances this Friday at 8pm and Saturday at 2pm and 8pm. The show will run for two weeks from July 8th thru the 22nd. Audiences who attend the opening performance on Sunday at 2pm are invited to greet the cast and share in refreshments after the performance in the tent beside the Playhouse as part of their admission that day. The production is being sponsored by F&M Trust.

Murder for Two is a witty and winking homage to old-fashioned murder mysteries described as the perfect blend of music, mayhem, and murder. The production stars a pair of multi-talented actor/musicians: Gavin Rohrer plays a small town policeman with dreams of making detective, and Eric Shorey provides a tour-de-force performance as all of the suspects in the production. In addition, both actors accompany each other on a baby grand piano throughout the 90-minute show. Shorey garnered rave reviews for playing the same role earlier this summer at the Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park. Rohrer most recently starred as 'Jerry Lee Lewis' in Million Dollar Quartet at The Actors Theatre of Indiana in Indianapolis, a role he has played at numerous major venues across the country, including the Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma and the Paramount Theatre in Chicago. The production is directed and staged by Clayton Phillips. Darren Server, Totem Pole's musical director, serves in the same capacity for this third production in the Playhouse's four-show summer season. Jonathan Dahm is designing the set, Danielle Preston is designing costumes, Kate Wecker is the show's sound designer, and Ryan Gibbs is designing the lighting and also serving as the show's stage manager for the two-week run.

Single ticket reserved seat prices for the season are all seats $50.00. Groups of 10 to 29 pay $35.00 with groups of 30 or more paying half-price at just $25.00 a ticket.

Tickets are on sale now by calling the Totem Pole Playhouse Box Office Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at (717) 352-2164 or on line at www.totempoleplayhouse.org.
